Josephine Carson Barr has been writing for over ten years. She wrote in multiple genres before deciding that children's picture books gave her the most pleasure.
Jo lives and works in Auckland City after years of living in rural NZ. She has six grandchildren who are often the inspiration for her books. She creates her books in close collaboration with her son Simon Barr the illustrator.
Simon Barr is an illustrator based in Auckland, New Zealand. He has illustrated numerous books for children. With hs trademark quirky style and unique interpretation of the characters, he brings stories to life. Books with Simon’s illustrations are delighting young readers from New York all the way to New Zealand.
