Press Release: 12 July 2016 – Edify Limited are delighted to announce that they have signed an agency agreement with Beagle Innovations to represent their student-centric, cloud-based software platform in New Zealand schools. Beagle uses assessment data to drive instruction; assessment for learning as well as assessment of learning. This partnership is effective immediately.
“Edify are thrilled to be working with the team at Beagle to bring this platform to New Zealand schools. As the leading provider of educational content and resources to New Zealand schools we are all too familiar with the challenges faced by teachers to close the gap and improve the performance of all learners. This promises to be a very important tool in addressing these disparities and we look forward to helping schools across the country implement Beagle,” said Edify CEO, Adrian Keane.
Deborah Grover, Director of Beagle Innovations said, “We are thrilled to finally be taking Beagle to market. Having Edify as our agent will give us immediate cut-through and mana in the education market.”
"Beagle uses assessment data to drive instruction; assessment for learning as well as assessment of learning. It’s not just about who is failing but why. To do this, schools need a suite of assessment tools that really drill down to the essential skills and knowledge, to identify gaps in student learning. Beagle is agnostic and can add any assessment tool; there are currently over 100. Without this data, schools are unable to identify who is at risk adequately and early enough, and where the explicit gaps in learning are, so that they can respond with the most appropriate and effective instruction.”
Edify Limited is an Auckland based Educational Publishing and Distribution company. Edify partners with a select group of market leading Publishers and publishes its own list in the Secondary and Higher Education markets.
